Until then expect iOS 14.6 to release sometime in the next month or so as it's likely the release that supports those new iPads coming in late May. I'm thinking that with everyone stuck in their homes for the past 16 months, there hasn't been much call for downloading little bits of new apps wherever you go. Speaking of features, does anyone remember App Clips? It seemed like it had such great potential but it's never really materialized as a platform. Once Apple officially announces iOS 15, we'll be in for a ride with new features and a brand new beta cycle! So really we're in a bit of a coast between now and WWDC this summer. What's Next?ĪirTags have shipped, new iMacs, iPads, and Apple TVs are flying off the pre-order shelves. ![]() ![]() Best practice is to keep a clean copy of the current release candidate on your computer to easily jump back to a "safe" build if you get into trouble. You may lose access to apps that are crucial to your daily workflow. As always, this is your friendly reminder that testing beta builds of software is not without risk.
